May 15, 2019 -- Some of Rexy Que's proudest moments at Wichita State involve the progress they made to help campus improve the experience of LGBTQ students. Now as they prepare to move on from WSU, Rexy is ready to continue taking on new challenges after they graduate.

May 13, 2019 -- Struggle has built character for Devin Martin, a math major at Wichita State University.

May 13, 2019 -- As an engineering major, Colton Russell found himself looking at many options of where to go to college. Wichita State University, he says, "just felt right."

May 13, 2019 -- After dropping out of high school and working her way back to a GED, Karen Abshire-Gordon wasn't sure she was college material. This month, she graduates with a bachelor's in psychology from Wichita State University.

April 30, 2019 -- Wichita State alumnus Chris Rempe graduated just seven years ago, but is already making an impact on WSU and local industry.

April 16, 2019 -- Ryan Kendall, a senior from Pelham, Alabama, is a computer science major who took the long route to Wichita State’s Selected Team. He didn’t make the team as a freshman and spent the past two seasons on the Developmental Team. Wichita State coach Gordon Vadakin estimates around 10 percent of the bowlers who don’t make the team in their early years continue to try out for a spot on the Selected Team.

April 2, 2019 -- A plan to build a new Student-Athlete Success Center and renovate parts of Charles Koch Arena is moving forward.

March 22, 2019 -- Wichita State University has been named to CollegeNET Inc.’s list of Social Mobility Innovators for 2019. Making the list means WSU has a proven track record of successfully enrolling students from low-income backgrounds and graduating them into promising careers.

March 5, 2019 -- Wichita State University has been awarded $4.2 million dollars in funding from the U.S. Department of Education to implement GEAR UP in Haysville school district USD 216 through 2025. Every student in 6th and 7th grade will benefit from GEAR UP’s college prep resources.

Feb. 28, 2019  -- Sandra Sanchez is a first-generation student who will graduate with a degree in social work in May 2019

Feb. 15, 2019 -- Former Kansas Gov. Mark Parkinson and his wife, Stacy, have established a generous scholarship at Wichita State University to help children of undocumented immigrants earn their degrees to pursue the American Dream.

Jan. 17, 2019 -- 2018 Wichita State alumnus Brock Milford has won the prestigious FAA Centers of Excellence DOT Secretary of Transportation Student RAISE Award.

Dec. 20, 2018 -- On Dec. 16, Wichita State University students walked across the stage in Charles Koch Arena for their graduation ceremony.

Dec. 19, 2018 -- As a nontraditional student who was the first in his family to go to college, the thought of college was scary for David Bustos-Morales. But spurred on by the desire to make his family proud, he pushed through and graduated in December 2018.

Dec. 6, 2018 -- Trudy Martin is a fifth-year senior at WSU studying electronic media and is an intern at KMUW.
